Editing Data Entry

Shell Script to edit Data Entry is a series of commands written in a plain text file. Shells are interactive which means the shell will undergo commands and execute them, these commands could be stored in a sequence into a text file and the shell will execute the text file instead of entering commands. This is called shell script.
Shell Script saves a lot of time as many tasks are automated so can the system administration be automated. The procedure being taking the input text file which is fed with commands and the file when executed on data entry, it operates and applies the set commands on the data and accordingly edits the same and gives an output file too. Shell script to edit data entry is a set of commands in a shell which are to be executed. There are various steps to write the shell script.

One can use any editor to write the shell script which is followed by executing permission and then saving the script after which it can be run upon. Shell scripts are created automatically each time any program is run with the batch parameter.

The shell Script to edit data entry will contain all information to run the program from the command line. It consists of a program that creates an interlink with the human operator and the operating system of a computer, a file that contains all the commands for the shell to read and execute. This is therefore only an executable file which consists a series of shell commands with the only motive to edit the data entry according to the clients requirements
